EGGSTRAVAGANZA – APRIL 4th: OUR ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

Eggstravaganza - BLOGAre you ready for this? A bit bigger this year! Eggs to be found… you bet! Golden eggs to be found …you bet! Pictures to be taken and memories abound … you bet! Come on out, moms & dads, grandmas and grandpas … and children1-9 years of age.

BUT DON’T BE LATE – We start EXACTLY at 10 AM!

And it’s finished in the blink of an eye.
You all start at the same time: Age group 7-9 year olds at the far side of the park; younger children in the front near the MC calling the instructions.
Remember, everyone has to stay on the sidewalk – not on the grass – or we cannot begin.

If you find the special egg (with the $5 dollar bill inside), remember to have your picture taken before you leave. Parents – please help us get these pictures taken expediently.

THE RANCH’S EGG-CELLENT ADVENTURE

We had another successful Eggstravaganza! We tried a slightly new format this year and have a few Easter Bunny bugs to work out. This is YOUR event, so we are always open to ideas for next year. Please let any District Director know what you thought!

“GUESS THE EGGS” CONTEST WINNER
MARY HIRST, age 9, was closest to guessing the number of eggs the Easter Bunny placed in the grass this year. For her mathematical wizardry, Mary won an Easter Basket filled with a chocolate bunny and other fun things.

SPECIAL EGG WINNERS
For each age group, there was a Special Egg with a $5 bill in it! The lucky winners:

DUS GRAHAM : 7-9 age group
COLTON HEISERMAN : 4-6 age group
LYLA MILLER : 2-3 age group
KARA CHANDSAWANG : 0-1 age group
And so, as we wrap up another Spring Event – A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.

Thanks to our great and responsive Photographer, Siobhan McTiernan, we have it all documented, smiles included. Please enjoy the photos on pages 8-9 of the May Ranch Roundup. Thanks also to Jeff Moon of Hanu Reddy Realty for sustaining us with coffee and donuts.

PS: As coordinator, I want to thank all of my helpers setting up AND cleaning up. I was able to meet a few of our newer Ranch members, and I thank you all for helping me!
